12:48 am (: FAHMI. LOOK, I POSTED A PICTURE OF YOU & ME! (: haha. met him at the night market when i was with my sister and big stef. SHOCK. fahmi... he totally looked like he lost 2000000 pounds. :/ don't be stress! don't worry, you'll do well for the test (: yeah. they're flying to Vienna in a couple of weeks for the competition ): thats europe, again. WHY IS EVERYONE COMPETING / PERFORMING IN EUROPE NOW ): I'M SO JEALOUS. I WANT TO GO. WHY AM I NOT IN NYP. (okay, i was totally kidding, i love nafa!) lol :D anyway! i was bored last night, and i decided that since i was finishing the Temperants book (one more chapter!), i would list down a few stuff to remind myself on what i have to pray for and stuff. my cupboard! thats my goals sheet before i hit my sweet 18. (: it has stuff like, where to eat, where to visit, etc. yeah, will be adding more stuff to my cupboards! (: TODAY. thursday. went to JB with my sis at like 3pm. like who on earth goes to JB in the middle of the afternoon right? ME AND HER LOR. unique (: HAHA. spent quite some time on what to wear. cause we wanted to look as "don't-rob-her" and "non-singaporean" as possible, but failed. dad told me and cheryl to speak chinese all the way there, but really, we dont have the accented malaysian chinese thingy. and so we wore like slippers and stuff. heh. anyway, though i'm supposed to bring her, she actually ended up bringing me around to the correct bus and stuff. :/ i'm really bad at this, i can tell. haha (: then so we ate a lot at City Square! kenny rogers', secret receipe.. and we bought a lot of stuff too! well. I DID. cheryl only bought like, a pair of shoes, cause she couldnt really find good shorts to buy. i bought A LOT. a shirt, a new pair of street shoes, 2 new devotion books, a cow clock which i'm intending to put on my piano, a new photo frame, badge, a mushroom lamp for one of my students who loveeee mushrooms, and some other stuff! (: OH. we watched THE HAPPENING too. and i tell you, ITS THE FEW BEST MOVIES I EVER SAW. loved it. but some people like my sister just dont get the show, so uh, yeah. this show is good if you like thrillers and those 'independence day' that kind of movie. (: yeah. was a tad worried that my sister would become some lost kid who doesn't even know whether she wants to go to some poly or abroad or whatever. so i took out all the JCs / polys / private schools, whatever brochures and stuff i have and made her read it through. :/ epitome of a scary monster freak who shops at random times? me? yeah right. (: i just realised i'm so freaking old. i mean, as in, out of school old. today i was in this christian bookshop and i wanted to buy this book on teenage stories written by teens for teens. and i flip and read some. and i went mostly like, "orh. gone through in primary 6" or even "orh, sec 3 have already. no more." :/ when you're 18, you're officially no longer reallyyyy a pure teenager, but a young adult in case you all didn't know. stop it with all the but nineteen got the "teen" word inside what! rubbish, LOL. .... which means.... oh man. :/ am i missing out on something here? argh. please say no. God, please say no. no no no no no. 6 more months.

10:01 pm dharmen's house yesterday to help him with some scouts stuff. and he has cable! so we had the time of our lives with discovery channel and animal plant :D not to mention.. he also has a very noisy but cute brother! LOL halfway through, went down to watch a guzheng ensemble concert by CJC & keat hong CC with scholas never watched a ensemble like this before, so it was rather interesting was okay, but some of the soloists just totally put me to sleep yup, then had dinner with scholas at Fish & Co.! super a lot of teenagers there, yeah had baked salmon, and it was really reallyyyy good :DDDD all my hopes, all my dreams God I lay them at Your feet big visions, big dreams. i dont know, some same i have the career look. but uh, i dont know, maybe its JUST the face. or maybe not. (: we can say what we wish our dream house or dream family or even dream holiday & dream vehicle is like, but really. its all up to Him. imagination is still sweet. heh. TODAY. dinner (: cheryl cooked! was the same old dishes, but its way better than having take outs. (: really like chilling out w my cellgroup mates, though we can be rather... crappy at some times o_o LOL :D dum dee dum. meiyan's blog, please go there! http://coolenberry.livejournal.com jielong just flew off this morning to hongkong! becky just left today for church camp at malaysia! and alice and the NAFA orchestra will be flying to germany in TWO days! ah, everyone's going SOMEWHERE ): ... its okay. i'm going to malaysia on thursday. LOL. thought sermon on saturday was really good and the pastor from the UK was awesome (: and his little toddler son & daughter are way adorable too! LABELS. singaporeans don't have the cliques stuff as bad as america does. i mean, usually, we'r like, "nice", "popular", "lamest person", "so funny person", "mr handsome", "the gorgeous babe", "the nerd", and stuff. but a label is still a label. i mean, thousands of people can put labels on you. they can call you a nerd, a act-cute freak, an old fashioned person, an auntie, a popular person, or even that girl who is 'so hardworking'. but are you going to let those labels determine who you are? hmmm. i am who i am. because the great I Am says.. I am. anyway i was just watching the news. and li jiawei (the singapore table tennis player)'s coach said this (in chinese of course) "if she keeps winning, then i wont be able to see anything, and its nothing. but if she loses a match, then we can try to find out the mistake and then improve." she won the game by the way. funny how when sometimes we fail in something, we rather choose to believe that we lost the whole game and thats life. hmmm. (: then flicked through tv to the arts central. and they were showing how the Red Hot Chilli Peppers practice and write songs and stuff. was really cool, they really seemed to put a lot of hardwork into everything man o_o Snow (Hey Oh) Come to decide that the things that I tried were in my life just to get high on. 11:37 pm almost everyone in the world is a big fan of nature. nature's beautiful clouds, beautiful mountains, those stuff which can only be found in good old Europe and the great New Zealand. so most of time, our wishlist will have this stuff like, "i wish to visit NEW ZEALAND!" or something. and to tell you the truth, i'm quite a sucker for that too. i like good old mother nature, and i love those trees and mountains, which then i will pout to myself and think, "why singapore don't have!" so i was walking to my student's house today which was about 5 mins away, for lessons. and i looked up, and behold! this is good old singapore, a plain road, where lots of cars which "gives out" carbon monoxide ride on. shows that my God is so amazing, that wherever i am, He can still show me His wonderful creations! :D just OPEN YOUR EYES. after today's lesson, i dont know whether to conclude whether are morning lessons good. cause the kids are awfully hyper, yeah BUT, for some odd reason, they concentrate even better too. maybe cause they'r not tired by schoolwork or something already. hmmm (: i've been practicing being unselfish today! and though its something which i'm doing on my part just only today for now, i believe God can teach and show me even more ways how to be unselfish (: cause You have bigger plans for me! random: i cant wait for mission trip! met naomi at lot one today! she was with her dad having dinner, and so we'r meeting up prob next week for dinner or something :D can't wait! miss her loads, and she has much longer hair nowwww! so glad to see YOU growing in the Lord through tiny stuff (: YOU know who you are! i realised that as someone like me who likes to socialise a lot, i might be able to make super a lot of friends and all, but if i'm not able to give my time or comfort to someone who needs it at that time, then i guess it really reflects what type of a friend i am. and as much as i want to be friends with everyone, i want to know that i'm able to really help people in my own little way, just giving a listening ear, so that they know i care (: I WANT TO BE QUICK TO LISTEN, SLOW TO SPEAK. :D send in almost 20 plus photos to be printed today. get really for filling out my album even more! :D woo! hayati just told me she got a MACBOOK AIR. OH-AM-GEE! o_o to who else?! HEY YOU. my God is bigger than what you think, than you ever imagine. please, you can't smack us dead. (: my sister thinks i am super naive and at times, dense. ... HOW CAN THAT BE?! ): peeling my heart, the strips off one by one. the real me, its just me.

02:47 am - the zoo & counterstrike fever typing this, going to sleep soon, have a long day tomorrow :D zoo on wednesday! went with andi, alice, becky, yuan bing, and her brother. anyway. yeah, it was great :D we covered all the shows, though they was a lot of misreading in maps and running here and there. yes, we are like, super on people :D we walked the wrong way and ended up on the wrong end of the zoo for the wrong show venue. but we still "GO GO GO!" LOL :D splash safari show! i know, i looked REALLY weird pinning up one side of my hair, but it was warm! and when you'r warm, you dont really care. giant tortoise! super big, and adorable! komodo dragon, just stoning there. feeding time for small tortoises and iguanas! apparently when the food came, one of the tortoise took FOREVER to reach the food bowl, since it was like at the other end of the enclosure and it had to rest a lot before it moved, and andi was super pek chek by it. cute wolf (: smelly too... one little thing i learned is that when you plan to go for a zoo outing, then later go for your PS lesson or something, please plan like HOURS in between. or better, none. cause you'll be too exhausted for lessons, and you should allow time for interruptions like someone forgetting to bring house keys (my sister!) met up with alice & becky (andi was asleep!) to eat dinner after the really wasted trip to kallang o_o since becky was leaving for malaysia (church camp) on monday, and alice was leaving for germany (NAFA orchestra) on wednesday, we decided to eat something that they wouldn't really get to eat in those countries, especially if they don't end up coming back... LOL :DD ICHIBAN SUSHI! yup (: today! thursday, cooked two pots of spaghetti sauce and a huge pot of penne pasta. counter strike fever apparently has hit a lot of people in cellgroup. so a number of them came over with laptops to battle it out today o_o yeah, so some of them brought drinks and snacks so we just ate and play (: and when it was like dinner time, we couldn't really finish the food, so played the awesome one and only, ZONG JI MI MA! :D HAHAHAH! had a few chats with jasper, meiyan, joon ting & wilson after that at the balcony with apple & guava juice. haha! the older people. lots of stuff. like on the malaysia education system, bungalows, the end times, future, band (joon ting was a percussionist in marsiling sec!) and.. more band! (: plus i like it that half the time we were guessing what another person was thinking. yes we'r really lame. but uh. funny. :D few rather obvious problems popping out here and there, especially at home. don't really know what to do, but i rather believe in trusting in Him than thrashing it out relentlessly. violence never solves anything, neither do broken plates and bad upfront confrontations. feel rather constrain at times, tonight i already felt the "tightness" on the spot. it doesn't feel good, but i hope it doesn't last long. finished reading yet another rather deep chapter of the Spirit Controlled Temperaments. in case you'r wondering why i'm taking forever to read it, thats cause its like those type of book which you must think here and there after reading it? yeah. and i realised i'm really a very selfish sanguine person. selfishness is really, the bottom line of our weaknesses in anything. if i'm not selfish, this is what i would have done, considering the standards of the ten commandments which God told Moses to write down, not my own of course. 'if i'm unselfish towards God, i would humbly obey Him and obey Him only, not take His name in vain or make any other images, and keep the Lord's day rather than desecrate it for selfish purposes. if i'm unselfish, i would honour my father and mother, i would not steal, or be so inconsiderate to others as to bear false witnesses against them or covet that which is of others.' of course, i'm not trying to say that i steal or don't want to obey my parents, but more in other terms. like in being intolerate in what others desire or being insensitive to my peers. or even in thinking of how and what i do will affect others. so yeah (: i think i'm going to put up this reminder stuff on my wall, lol :P anyway its June! so it means 6 months gone. whether its put to good use or not, its still not too late! so yeah, going to put up my little goals and stuff like that for the next 6 months. of course, one of my big weaknesses is being rather weak willed. so i want to let my unselfishness lead into me being self disciplined -_-" cause if i start to think how my actions will affect others if i choose to do things "just because i feel like it" especially if its wrong, it will help a great deal. (: YEAH! haha :DD thats me in the chorus with the nafa orchestra! i'm on the first row on the bottom (: listen, we'r GOOD! anyway, i missed my appointment and injection again. and they called my dad, threatening to come down all the way to my house if i still forgot to go down for my check up. LOL, funny. oh yeah! i sprained my right ankle the morning of the zoo trip. and i was quite dumb, actually jumping to land on my right foot for those stone steps. o_o so it did hurt, but i didn't really care, continued hopping away. LOL and yes, some of you may have known, i had stomach flu for the past few days. its really bad, like you REALLYYYYY want to eat a donut for example, but the minute you hold it to your mouth or even look, you feel like vomitting o_O so i ate only when the pain goes away (: but aiyah, i still eat normally now, since nothing has happened for like days. heh :p and good news! my room is cleaned. like really, the floor is nice, the music books are placed nicely on the shelf. can't say much for dusty cupboards though, LOL :D GOODNIGHT! oh Lord. save me.

02:45 am yesterday, i finished the whole Ben & Jerry's SMORES w my dad, in less than 24 hours. today! dad came back and was digging through some stuff. and POP! he took out a whole pint of Ben & Jerry's TURTLE SOUP flavor ice cream from the bag. :/ and we ate again. .... talk about addicting. anyway! tomorrow i'm going to the zoo! (: going to party this week man :D as in, yeah, go out loads :DDD thurs, prob the discovery center with steph. friday, teaching from morning till late afternoon. the really really bad part? my room is still not cleaned. dad says its like a refuge camp. o___o really meh? okay. i'm quite surprised, cause channel 8 is actually finally producing shows with GOOD plots and actors. its like so long since there was really a good show? (: yay. JUNE 15 IS FATHER'S DAY. i dont know what to do i dont know what to do x____x ahhhhh :/

10:39 pm - radical conference 08 so you wanna change the world, what are you waiting for? say you're gonna start right now, what are you waiting for? it only takes one voice, so come on now and shout it out, give a little more, what are you waiting for? i just finished watching Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen on vcd. i know, this is like my last year, or few months, being a teenager, cause when you're 18, its supposedly your first year of "young adulthood", when you take responsibilities and all. but i'm not sure whether it applies to singapore, since we uh, don't run like that. anyway, it was none of those whatever boy meets girl and stuff like that, but i still loved it loads. for a two hour video on how far you would go to chase your dreams, i actually think its not crap from Lindsay Lohan for once. hmmm, disney isn't so bad. friday and saturday, what a blast. radical conference 2008 (: this year was totally fabulous, isn't it? like everytime. pastor preston is good. i mean seriously, really, good. in only a matter of preaching less than 30mins (after lots of jokes and even some mass dancing stuff with all the youth), he hit the very root which cause every problem in this world today. my sermon book surprisingly, wasn't full of a page after page blow of every single thing the pastor said, but it was filled with pictures and drawings, lots of reminders to myself. one of the sessions i remember, was on your relationship w God. and duh, he was totally right on sitting on borrowed relationships. its like, i was born in a christian family, blah, i'm even a 4th generation christian. but guess what? my great-granddad's relationship with God, my grandparents, and even my parents' relationship with God will not get me anywhere. thats true now. i realised i used to pray only when i had a problem, i went to church because everyone in my family did. talk about tradition, gees. and now i realise how grateful i am to truly have my OWN relationship with God. i mean, for anyone, God isn't going to let you into heaven because your dad was the greatest pastor in the history of whatever-ness, or because your grandmother saved 1000000 lives in some ulu country. hm, the past 16 years before i got serious was just an empty hole. i'm glad i got back on track (: another one of the few sessions, mentioned, NO MORE. funny how the bible says the most important thing is to love, and yet we go around and slander each other, when the very thing the bible says is that our mouth is like a sword, it contains death and life. even for me, there are times when i didn't like this person, or someone spreaded this or that rumor, and i might just speak badly of that person, or just even worse, join in the gossip. i thought for a while. isn't it plain disgusting how the very mouth you use to tell someone that "i care for you" is the very mouth that went to someone and said "that person did a bad thing". it doesn't even have to be the same person. i guess its all about choices. face it, whatever choices you make, there's a consequence. so you just have to face it, whether its good or bad. like for example, you did something really bad to your friend, something which caused division. all you have got to do is to go up, and really apologise. and please, which freaking teenager does not have a problem with "DONT DARE LAH!" and pride? i have that problem sometimes too! like when i say sorry to my friend or my parents, it can take me a few days even. but coming from me, the longer you drag, the worse you feel, the guiltier you get. the bible didn't say fight with the friend to make things better. it sure didn't say spread bad things to make it better, or even think bad things. but it did say to us to meet up with the friend to settle it out. but really, most of the time, even i, just choose to not voice it out, and keep it to yourself, then tell another friend, and another, and another... and guess what? you just made an enemy. soon whenever you look at the person, or walk past him/her, these thoughts will fly through your mind. funny hor. that people can actually get angry with each other, say person A is angry with person B, and person A just chooses to tell a friend and get angry or whatever, and person B is still having the time of his life because he doesn't know a thing. ... happy suffering alone, person A. so at the end of this session, the whole bunch of us were told by pastor preston that if we had anybody whom we had spoken badly of, said bad things behind that person's back, or we wanted to seek for forgiveness, to go up to the person and do it. and it was good to see us, youths, just going around telling people we were sorry for this and that and we wanted forgiveness. you know what? it doesn't mean that both of you have to feel sorry and become best friends and things go back to where it was all of a sudden to mean forgiveness. all you have to do is just tell the person you'r sorry, and what you have done. and you've done your part. whether the person chooses to restore the relationship with you, thats on his/her part. for now, you know you've done the best you can. i want a hero. i want to be a hero. and a hero isn't just someone like superman or batman was superpowers. a hero is someone who steps into your life even when your life is breaking down, and that hero chooses to stay there to help. one thing was emphasized a lot during this 2 day conference. that we aren't people who are losers, but we are choosers. that though we cant change the way we were born and how our life was, but we can choose how it ends. that everyone will hurt at some point of time, but not everyone will quit. we absorb so much during conferences, we absorb so much in church. but how much do we go forth and apply and do? i mean, i can tell you the bible says to love your enemies, but did i do it? now there's a difference, between a living christian, and a dying one. (: okay, i dont want to be a dying christian :D haha :DD alright, kidding, that was a picture of like, half of our cellgroup when playing games today. so they had to spell names. loved the videos they took as part of the "task" :D really saw a wild side of even the quietest person in cellgroup, LOL oh yes! its the first of june now (: HAPPY JUNE HOLIDAYS! going to have a blast this month, lots of things to do (: and my list of "things to do before i'm 18!" haha :D I CAN'T WAIT TO HIT MY BIG 18 IN DECEMBER :D oh yeah. should be going to the zoo with alice, becky tan, some of them anyone wants to come, DO TELL ME ASAP OK? don't say i didn't invite you, cause i DID! i just can't sms everyone, so i just tell people to spread the message (: NIGHT. :D

01:02 am - shoe hunting w stef & dharmen. okay u know its 1am in the morning, but i just had a bowl of dumpling soup and i'm aching to do crazy stuff. like.. clean my room. as in. CLEAN. you know, water, soap, blah blah. O_O i'll see. food does weird stuff to me. saw some youngsters (sec sch kidsi) playing basketball though its so late. got reminded of my secondary school times when during the holiday periods or what so ever, we would hang out and stay up throughout the night in the park or downstairs just chatting or even anywhere else watching a movie, blah blah blah. and i want to do it NOW! just seriously, stone at the park with a group and talk about how is life for each of us just for that one night. but then the very depressing thought. i may be having my 'summer holidays', but the POLY & JC STUDENTS ARE NOT. so thats like 99% gone for the usual people. (JC yeah, having june break, BUT, there're having exams after the holidays so everyone is too busy mugging now) argh! ): okay. cut the crap, heh TODAY (: went out shoe-hunting w stef and dharmen. putting up the main pictures only. other photos will be uploaded onto my online album when i'm free, prob at the end of june, cause i'll label it 'summer break 08', yup. waiting for dharmen to come. were at tanjong katong complex. synwin violins. they had like hundreds of violins/violas and cellos, double basses, even an ancient clavichord there! super nice. at city plaza. stef wanted to buy some of those gladiator shoes, so yeah, we went around with her. apparently, the shoe shops have like SO MANY shoes, so much more than what we have in the west i think. dharmen showing off a boot.. which he wanted stef to try at first, just for the fun. the shoes stef bought! after even more shoe hunting, me and dharmen got tired. so we tried these massage chairs! and dharmen has NEVER been on a massage chair! so yeah... interesting (: cause even before we started he was going on and on about "will this hurt or not?!" http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v448/becky_gal/?action=view¤t=V280508_1412.flv here's a link, watch dharmen on the massage chair for the first time! taken on phone, so not so good quality. anyway, for some weird reason i cant put it here, cause it wont appear, so yeah, you all have to click on the link! got bored later again, and wandered off with dharmen to look at bags and stuff. had dinner at arnold's chicken! half a spring chicken with fries and coleslaw for each for us. for only $5.20! cheaper than your KFC MEAL. and seriously, it tastes MUCH better than KFC. the chicken is actually.. CHICKEN. and the fries, seriously, i never thought i would say this, not being a big fair of fries, but i love it! and the amazing coleslaw too (: for three people! with onion rings and drink! o__o (: chatting w andi on msn now. cause we'r totally bored. and hungry. 10:46 pm sunday - JAYZEE CAFE jasper did a good job with my cheese baked rice, though i've really got to admit, too much pepper. and thats cheryl poking at jielong's dubious looking spaghetti! but ah, its good too (: only that pasta is getting way hard nowadays. :/ officially DAY ONE of holidays for all secondary kiddos. meiyan was sick! so me and cheryl (after an hour of passionate singing -.-") went with her to the polyclinic. superrrrr long for her. anyway, we were so broke (seriously, i have like only 20bucks left for the week) that we wandered around food junction looking for the cheapest but most appealing-to-taste food. GET WELL SOON BABE :D AND HAVE FUN & ALL THE BEST FOR THE THIRTY-SEVEN (i know, like, WHAT ON EARTH right?!) MATCHES TOMORROW! food fair at expo's last day tomorrow. seriously, i WANT TO GO, food is freak cheap there. so anyone up tomorrow? TEXT ME AH :D

(: almost forgot. we were celebrating jackkee's bday yesterday after church dinner, so yeah. some photos! dinner.. surprise! switched off the lights when he went to throw rubbish, so yeah (: praying cut! anyway, have been to Buddy Hoagies for like two times in a row already. friday night, and saturday night. and on both nights, was to eat a BAKED POTATO. plus to play the ever exciting, DREAM HOUSE game. LOL. okay, we were like, forever the loudest people. -- just for the bonus! mine and steph's head with, or rather, ON!, one of the science exhibits!
